Scott HunsickerA lifelong resident of Topeka, Scott Hunsicker proves accountability is a priority because he’s been with Kansas Financial Resources for 35 years.
As owner and president, he is emphatic about ensuring clients are confident in their financial futures. Scott began his career as a life and financial services professional in 1983 and since then, he’s gained significant experience working with clients of all income levels and situations. He uses his knowledge and expertise to help individuals and families gain confidence in their financial futures. Scott is a Chartered Life Underwriter®, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow®, as well as a registered investment advisor. He takes great pride in the business model he created that holds high client retention, and one his son plans to continue on. Scott knows being a good listener and providing common-sense solutions to clients makes him resourceful—an asset clients appreciate. He’s thankful for the loyalty of his lifelong clients and hopes they understand how grateful he is to them. |
Eric HunsickerGrateful when it comes to his clients, Eric Hunsicker holds true to his commitment of always providing unbiased recommendations and excellent service. His father started Kansas Financial Resources more than 35 years ago, and it’s Eric’s full intention to take it another 35.
His resilience and creative thinking are what make him unique from his competitors. Eric’s proud of his ability to find and apply solutions to his clients’ needs while being able to explain them in a simple manner. He is patient, focused and dedicated to working hard and being accountable. Eric believes having impactful relationships with clients is imperative to his business philosophy, and earning that confidence is an accomplishment he can be proud of. While Eric enjoys many facets of the business, his expertise lies in the wide variety of clientele he works with and his unique ability to adapt to their individual situations. To better serve his clients, Eric holds his life, health and disability insurance licenses, his Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, is a registered Certified Life Underwriter® and is currently working on becoming a Certified Financial Planner®. |
Todd ZimlichAttentive and resourceful, Todd Zimlich’s business approach includes engaging clients in candid conversations in order to help him recommend the solutions they deserve.
Todd has been with Kansas Financial Resources for 24+ years and is committed to always being reachable to his clients and following through on the outlined objectives. He strives to be caring and accountable to his clients and helping them achieve confidence in their financial well-being is Todd’s ultimate goal. As a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow®, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and registered investment advisor, Todd enjoys seeing solutions he is responsible for creating in action, making him proud of the work he’s done. JP SchmidtleinHaving worked in sales the entire span of his career, JP Schmidtlein believes connecting with people is his true expertise, and he is committed to always providing the highest level of service to them. Being considerate, listening to and helping clients discover what their big-picture needs are is a big part of why JP works in this industry. For him, the individuals start as clients and eventually become friends, which exhibits a level of dedication and honesty JP is proud to have.
Being at an independent agency gives JP the freedom to work directly for the client rather than any specific insurance or investment company. JP follows the Kansas Financial Resources’ business philosophy, learning the best practices of the business from Scott’s, Eric’s and Todd’s years of experience and industry knowledge. This approach makes JP adaptable in recommending the product or coverage that best suits the client’s wants, putting their needs first and foremost, as the rest of the in-house advisors do. JP feels most satisfied when a client comes into the office overwhelmed and exhausted about their financial future and then leaves with a sense of control and comfort.
