Scott Hunsicker is president of Kansas Financial Resources, which acts as a general agency for insurance products. Scott began his career as a life and financial services professional in 1983. Since then he has gained significant experience working with clients of all income levels. He uses his knowledge and expertise to help his clients reduce their tax burdens, invest* wisely, be able to afford retirement, and pass on their estates without shrinkage due to estate and inheritance taxes. Scott is a lifelong resident of Topeka, and is a past active member and current supporter of the Topeka Active 20/30 Club, which serves local children's charities.
Through Kansas Financial he brokers for several of the top rated insurance companies. Kansas City Life Insurance Company has been a major carrier since his start in 1983. Scott is the charter member of Kansas City Life's Hall of Fame and his agency. His agency has earned many of Kansas City Life's top honors, including the top agency honor, the Agency Building Award in 2005 and the President's Quality Service Award in 1997 and 2006. His agency was also awarded the Agency Building Award Honorable Mention in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2008 and 2009.
Scott and his wife Sherry opened Hilco Mortgage in 2001 and Sherry manages the Topeka office. They have two sons, Eric and Chad, who both reside in Topeka. Scott's hobbies include bow hunting and golf.
